A message from the Chairman

Events in the domestic and global economies in recent weeks have been nothing short of breathtaking. Major financial institutions in a matter of days have come under immense pressure to stay alive – and some have failed the test. Some financial benchmarks, relationships and other measures with decades of history have suddenly become unpredictable or irrelevant.

Predictably such events prompt a race to “return to the basics” – to act prudently and ethically and to make sound personal and business decisions. FarmHouse Fraternity’s mission to be "Builders of Men" has never been more topical or timely.
           
At the FarmHouse Conclave recently held in Lubbock, Texas, the success of FarmHouse’s efforts were once again on display as talented and successful young FarmHouse men from chapters throughout the Fraternity interacted and demonstrated the integrity, leadership and outstanding scholarship for which FarmHouse men are known. 

The need to continue the FarmHouse mission is more important than ever. The FarmHouse Foundation remains as the means by which this goal is achieved by funding leadership conferences, scholarships and a variety of other targeted programs. These achievements are met through a combination of permanently endowed and temporarily restricted funds as well as the annual operating fund. 

The Foundation depends on continuing support from all FarmHouse members, especially in our Annual Fund. The Board of Trustees heartily thanks everyone for their past support as well as thanking you, in advance, for your ongoing support as we continue to be "Builders of Men" who will graduate and move on to become leaders in the many varied careers, businesses and educational institutions which they pursue. Please make your gift today, if you haven't already done so. You'll be glad you did!
