The FarmHouse Foundation |
"Those brief years of active membership provided to me a lifetime of opportunities and friends.
Scholarships Each year, the FarmHouse Foundation awards scholarships on the basis of academic achievement, exemplary integrity, ethics, initiative and industry conducive to ongoing leadership, career potential and service to others. Scholarships are open for all FarmHouse chapter members to apply. Recipients must maintain the foregoing criteria for the academic year for which it is awarded in order to receive the full scholarship. Scholarships are renewable contingent on re-application, but not normally renewable for more than four successive years. Every effort will be made to notify the recipient well in advance of fall semester, particularly if the recipient demonstrated need that might prevent his continued enrollment. Scholarship applications and letters of support must be forwarded to the Fraternity/Foundation’s International Office bearing a postmark no later than June 1, 2011. Selection of recipients will be made by a committee appointed by the FarmHouse Foundation Trustees. An ideal applicant should have a commitment to achieve the level of values that FarmHouse holds so dear, in particular those principles of leadership, scholarship and a genuine interest in the success of their brothers. These characteristics embody those who have established these named scholarships and countless other FarmHouse men who continue the tradition today. Information regarding the Foundation Scholarship Program is available by contacting The FarmHouse Foundation International Headquarters at 1-800-722-1905. Scholarships offered

Establishing a scholarship to benefit the current and future generations of some of the most outstanding young men in North America, the undergraduate members of FarmHouse, is easy, satisfying, and tax deductible. More than 60 FH men, families, and associations have done so. The concept is a simple one: $10,000 or more will permanently endow a scholarship. The gift can be made lump sum or spread over up to 5 years. The gift can be out-right, via bequest, or other deferred gift arrangement. For gifts of $10,000 or more, the FH Foundation will prepare a fund agreement or contract that will assure that the gift is used as the donor intended in perpetuity. The scholarship can be for the traditional award for academic achievement and/or need. It can also be for the more broadly defined scholarship of the 21st Century and provide scholarships for a number of men from the chapter of your choice to attend The FarmHouse Leadership Academy, The Regional Leadership Conference, Emerging Talent Retreat or Conclave. Scholarships can also be for technology, study abroad, and other educational opportunities and programs. The FarmHouse Foundation • 7306 NW Tiffany Spring Parkway, Suite 210 • Kansas City, MO 64153 |
