Bob Keefer died in 2002

He’s been talking at our Leadership Academy ever since!

Bob, as he was known to his friends, was a long-time farm businessman, philanthropist and community leader from Polo, Ill. He and his wife, Lorna, were generous towards FarmHouse, taking several young chapters under their wings and providing them with guidance, support and financial assistance, as well as endowing scholarships for students in the Illinois Chapter, his alma mater. Bob served as a FarmHouse Foundation Trustee and was named a Master Builder of Men recipient in 2000. Leading by example and sharing his good fortune was just his style.

            One of his gifts was to leave behind an IRA through his estate plan, to benefit the FarmHouse Foundation. In part because of Bob's gift, young men in FarmHouse get to attend the Leadership Academy at no cost to them personally. It's as if he's still with us. For many brothers each year he still is!
