FARMHOUSE QUESTIONS OF THE WEEK

QUESTION OF THE WEEK? --- "We heard there was money available if our officers and some of our young leaders want to make a road trip to another chapter and see how they do things. Is this true?"

The FarmHouse Chapter Visitation Program was designed to give chapters a chance to see first-hand how another FarmHouse chapter operates, to share ideas and learn a little about different campuses. It's been designed for chapter officers and emerging leaders to visit another chapter with end outcomes in mind, not for walkouts between pledge classes. Chapters are eligible for up to a $100 reimbursement in gas expenses.

The first six chapters that have visits agreed upon by both chapters, have goals in mind for the visit and contact the FarmHouse International Office at 800-722-1905 are eligible to have up to $100 in gas expenses reimbursed (max. of 2 vehicles per visit). To be reimbursed, chapters must submit gas receipts and submit the completed summary/outcomes form.

This program is particularly valuable for chapters that desire assistance in particular areas. For instance a chapter facing challenges with their new member education program might visit the chapter that placed first in new member education the previous year to gain ideas on how to revamp their programs. We can help with arrangements/suggestions.

Chapters should link to http://www.farmhouse.org/pdf/part3.pdf to learn more about the Chapter Visitation Program and download the forms..
