JOINING FARMHOUSE FRATERNITY - BUILDER OF MEN
Thank you for your interest in FarmHouse Fraternity.
Founded in 1905 at the University of Missouri by
seven men, over 100 years later 25,000 men who emulate the standards set-forth by our founders, have
joined the FarmHouse brotherhood.
Our Fraternity seeks to build men academically, physically, spiritually and socially and is
committed to our mission of being Builders of Men. Scholarship, leadership and service are the channels in which
our four-fold development allow men to grow during their collegiate career and for a lifetime. Additionally, our
central tenets of Faith, Ambition, Reverence, Morality, Honesty, Obedience, Unity, Service and Excellence, guide
the FarmHouse man in his daily life – in thought, action, words and deeds.
While the campus climate and culture has changed sine 1905, our commitment to recruiting the
best and brightest men is unchanged. FarmHouse is pleased to count amongst our brotherhood:
- Student Government Association Presidents
- Rotary, Goldwater and Truman Scholars
- Pickering Fellows
- National FFA Presidents
- Drum Majors
- American Degree holders
- Youth Ministers
- Varsity Athletes and IM Champions
- Homecoming Kings
- Small Business Owners
- Herdsman and Ranchers
- Honor Society Presidents
- American Idol Contestants
- Cancer Researchers
- International Scholars
And this is just our undergraduate brothers!
Founded as an agriculturally-based social men’s fraternity,
today FarmHouse men come from all backgrounds and
pursue all academic majors. However, all FarmHouse men
are committed to ideals often found in rural life – hard work,
honesty, respect for their fellow man and commitment to
improving oneself and those around him.
Located on over 30 campus – major research universities
and land-grant institutions across North America, chances
are there is a FarmHouse chapter close to you.
